8/17/97 The Great Went, Limestone ME I: The Wedge, Beauty of my Dreams, Dogs Stole Things > Vultures, Water in the Sky, Maze, Bouncing Around The Room > Tweezer* > Taste, Carolina# II: Down With Disease > Jam > Bathtub Gin > Jam! > Uncle Pen, Also Sprach Zarathustra-> Art Jam**> Harry Hood III: Buffalo Bill > NICU > Weigh > Guyute > Dirt, Scent of a Mule > Prince Caspian E: When the Circus Comes, Tweezer Reprise** * Cities jam # acapella **During The 2001-> Art Jam, the band members take turns painting large designs at the side of the stage. Then, the crowd "carries" the pieces of this design to the side of the venue where it is assembled and hoisted for eveyone to see onto a tower. This wood tower is tall and covered in painted plywood and has been built during the two shows. As Harry Hood goes into the Jam, Trey again asks Chris to turn the lights off, and the band jams while the front section has a gigantic Glow Stick War. Trey tells the crowd at the end of the Jam to "go and get more of those, because that was cool.", **During Tweezer Reprise, they burned the entire assembled design to the ground.

It might be the one from the Gorge *** major fireworks are let off behind the stage during the song, culminating in a great finale display as Funky Bitch winds up. I: 115, II: 69, III+E: 76 min

Forbin's Ascent > Pranksters* > Jam** > Camelwalk > Taste E: Bouncing Around the Room, Rockytop * w/ Ken Kesey, Ken Babbs and other assorted Merry Pranksters. There was a midget in costume as well as 5-6 monsters strutting the stage. Ken Babbs was Frankenstein. The Tin Man was also there. Phish played part of Frankenstein as Babbs came out. Kesey went on about something about the "bozos havn't been seen in two years." and this skit was acted out onstage with the band jamming behind them. Before the wishes Trey teased a few measures of Happy Birthday To You. Trey said something to the effect of 'We are going to keep the spirit of Jerry alive through the music into the next decade'.
