11/3/98 KBCO Studios - 97.3FM, Boulder, CO Driver, Wading in a Velevet Sea, Possum, Roggae All Accoustic They talked between songs about Halloween, Utah, the media, and Red Rocks Contrary to rumors, they did not say that they were invited back to Red Rocks, they said that they would LIKE to be invited back for a 5 night run, laughingly, because it was made clear that they would never be invited back after the 1996 'non-event' as Mike called it in the interview. Some banter included: "Radio will be saved by playing more Phish" "I like radio...it's just bad music on the radio that's the problem" - Trey "I think it's too late for commercial success to ruin us...[laughs]... Brian Daignault posted a message to rec.music.phish in January detailing the influence that The Velvet Underground has had on Phish. He even mentions "Loaded" as a good album to buy first if you want to get into VU All of set II first time played except Sweet Jane (last was 8/8/98) and Lonesome Cowboy Bill (last was 6/10/95) * - 15 minutes, Consisted of: Ghost tease > Funk Jam > Sleeping Monkey Tease > Makisupa Policeman Tease > Esther Tease > Quiet Ambient Jam.
